Paraguay will be without coach Gerardo Martino for the Copa America final after he was handed a two-match touchline ban for his part in the brawl that followed the semi-final win over Venezuela.
Both teams were involved in scuffles after Paraguay triumphed on penalties and Martino had already been sent off during the match for dissent.
He will now have to watch the Copa America final against Uruguay on Sunday from the stands, along with assistant coach Jorge Pautasso.
Paraguay and Venezuela were fined $10,000 each for the post-match brawl and warned that they will face serious sanctions if anything similar happens again.
However, Venezuela coach Cesar Farias, who was involved in a verbal spat with Martino during the match, blamed the trouble on the winning team.
"Today we have seen how [an established] World Cup team [in Paraguay] and some of their officials had to come and provoke us," he said in the post-match press conference.
"Now we are so important that they already know our names, we are so important that we got to penalties and we are so important they have to come and attack us after the game." Paraguay will also be without Jonathan Santana for the final after he was sent off against Venezuela, while Aureliano Torre and Roque Santa Cruz are injury doubts.
